Mediations with two parties are billed at $275 per party, per hour. Mediations with three or more parties are $200 per party, per hour. Non-binding arbitrations are billed at $350 per party, per hour.
All time is billed to the nearest half-hour. There is a three hour minimum for half-day sessions, and a six hour minimum for full day sessions.
Parties represented by the same counsel are billed as one party.
If a half-day mediation is cancelled within 7 days before the mediation, there will be a two hour minimum charge. If a full-day mediation is cancelled within 7 days before the mediation, there will be a four hour minimum charge. All fees are to be divided equally by the parties, through their attorneys, unless otherwise agreed.
Payment for services may be made by check payable to “Schaap Mediation, LLC” or credit card. Payments are due within 20 days of the mediation. If paying by check, please mail payment to Schaap Mediation, LLC, 301 W. Platt St., A-210, Tampa, FL 33606.
Lawyers and law firms, not their clients, are responsible for payment.
